FRC Action PAC Endorses Mark Harris for U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina
Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Mark Harris for U.S. House of Representatives for the 8th District of North Carolina.
FRC Action President Jody Hice issued the following statement:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. After working with Mark Harris for many years we know he is such a leader. He understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation. We are confident that he will be a voice for these values.
“Mark’s career has been marked by both service and leadership. His ministry delivered significant growth in church membership and greatly enhanced church operations. He successfully led the church through economic downturns and did so without incurring debt. Mark served as President of the North Carolina Baptist Convention from 2011 to 2013 and was instrumental in the passage of the 2012 Marriage Amendment. He has consistently stood on the frontlines and has never wavered in standing for truth and fighting for what is right.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that Mark will be a dedicated advocate for our freedoms and strong family values. He is the leader that North Carolina needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy to represent the people of North Carolina’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.”
