FRC Action PAC Endorses Ted Budd for U.S. Senate in North Carolina
WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Ted Budd for U.S. Senate in North Carolina.
FRC Action President Tony Perkins issued the following endorsement:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. We believe Ted will be such a leader. Ted understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.
“As a husband and father, Ted appreciates the threat to the family unit and the importance of protecting children. His service in the U.S. House of Representatives has demonstrated he is a steadfast advocate for the unborn. He has supported and worked to pass important legislation like the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the Hyde Amendment, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, and other important measures. It’s no wonder then that Ted has repeatedly earned FRC Action’s True Blue award for his advocacy for faith, family, and freedom while in the U.S. House of Representatives.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that Ted will continue to be a dedicated advocate for faith, family, and freedom. He is the leader that North Carolina needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for election to the U.S. Senate for North Carolina,” Perkins concluded.
