FRC Action PAC Endorses Neil Parrott for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 6th Congressional District
WASHINGTON, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Neil Parrott for U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District.
FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President Jerry Boykin issued the following endorsement:
“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. From meeting with Neil, evaluating his positions, and speaking with those who know him, we believe he will be such a leader. Neil understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.
“During his time in the Maryland House of Delegates, Neil has been a staunch defender of life, family, and religious liberty. He stood for life by introducing legislation like the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. Additionally, Neil voted to protect women and children by opposing the Fairness for All Marylanders Act of 2014 that allows biological men into women’s restrooms, showers, and locker rooms. He has also pushed for the right of chaplains and business owners alike to fulfill their duties according to their deeply held religious convictions without fear of government repercussion. With these and other examples, we see that Neil’s track record advocating for important issues is a long one. If elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, we believe he will continue to fight for these fundamental issues.
“FRC Action PAC is confident that Neil will continue to be a dedicated advocate for life, freedom, and strong family values. He is the type of leader Maryland desperately needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Together, we will create a culture in which human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives,” concluded Boykin.
