FRC Action PAC Endorses Ruth Edmonds for U.S. House of Representatives in Ohio

Washington, D.C. – FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Ruth Edmonds for the U.S. House of Representatives in Ohio’s 15th District.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin issued the following endorsement:

“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. From meeting with you, evaluating your positions and record of service, and speaking with those who know you, we are confident you will be such a leader. You understand the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.

“You are a full-spectrum conservative with a proven history as a civic leader. Your inspiring life story is one of realizing the American Dream. Working two jobs to earn your college degree, you know the hard work necessary to achieve success. You have overcome many obstacles to become a recognized leader in your church, community, and local Republican party.

“For the last 20 years, you have been a tireless advocate for the unborn in Ohio. You have boldly spoken in support of life, played an important role in getting pro-life legislation passed in your state, and equipped and encouraged citizens to fight for the most vulnerable in our society.

“If elected to Congress, you have promised to support pro-life legislation such as the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and the Hyde Amendment. You have also pledged to oppose legislative attacks on religious liberty such as the erroneously named ‘Equality Act,’ and to protect women’s sports. Additionally, you support policies that encourage strong families.

“FRC Action PAC is confident that you will continue to be a dedicated advocate for life, freedom, and strong family values. We are pleased to offer our endorsement of your candidacy for election to the U.S. House of Representatives,” concluded Boykin.
