FRC Action PAC Announces Endorsement of Rep. Marsha Blackburn for Election to U.S. Senate

Washington, D.C. -- FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Representative Marsha Blackburn for election to the United States Senate for the state of Tennessee.

FRC Action PAC Executive Vice President, Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin commented:

“During my many years of working closely with Rep. Marsha Blackburn on Capitol Hill, I have been impressed with her commitment to the founding principles of our great nation. Her belief that America does best when remaining true to its constitutional freedoms has pervaded each year of her impressive leadership in the Tennessee State Senate, and in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“I have witnessed Rep. Blackburn’s unwavering dedication to immutable truth as the Republican Deputy Whip and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Communications and the Internet. In addition to her extensive policy expertise, she has been unafraid to ask tough questions, fight for government accountability, and prevent tax increases. We appreciate her understanding of and commitment to a correct interpretation of the nation’s laws. For her dedication to the values of faith, family, and personal freedom, she has been a repeated recipient of FRC Action’s “True Blue” award.

“Rep. Blackburn has set out to break the political mold by holding fast to truth that’s often sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. She has demonstrated a pattern of putting people before special interest groups and career politicians. FRC Action PAC is confident that she will continue to be a principled advocate for strong family values and personal prosperity, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of Rep. Marsha Blackburn’s candidacy to replace Bob Corker in the U.S. Senate,” concluded Boykin.
